Alberta Provincial Judges and Masters in Chambers!
As an employee or retiree of the Alberta Judges and Masters in Chambers, you are eligible to join ARTA and apply for one of ten Benefit Plans available. ARTA offers a variety of coverage levels for extended health care, emergency travel coverage and dental care. With an ARTA membership, employees or retirees of the Alberta Judges and Masters in Chambers will also be eligible for the ARTA Perks discount program, the ARTA scholarship program, various wellness initiatives and much more.
Eligibility
- Employees or retirees who are vested to receive, or in receipt of any Alberta government-sponsored pension plan and residing in Alberta at the time of application.
- If a member has withdrawn their pension, they are no longer eligible, even if they meet the minimum eligibility criteria.
- Must be a permanent resident of Canada (excluding Quebec) and enrolled in all applicable provincial or territorial health care plans.
- Surviving spouses may apply for or transfer benefits after the plan member’s death.
Note: If you have pulled your pension plan contributions you no longer qualify.
