ARTA Welcomes
Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA)!
As a retired Alberta MLA, you are eligible to join ARTA and apply for one of ten Benefit Plans available. ARTA offers a variety of coverage levels for extended health care, emergency travel coverage and dental care. With an ARTA membership, employees or retirees of MLA will also be eligible for the ARTA Perks discount program, the ARTA scholarship program, various wellness initiatives and much more.
Eligibility
- Alberta Public Sector retirees and employees who are not participating in an Alberta government sponsored pension plan and who were employees of the government of Alberta as deputy ministers, executive assistants, or Members of the Legislative Assembly for at least 5 years
- Permanent resident of Canada;
- Surviving spouse of the above members;
- Enrolled in all provincial or territorial health care plans for which you are eligible;
- Become an affiliate ARTA member.
