ARTA Welcomes
Local Authorities Pension Plan (LAPP)!
As a member of LAPP, you are eligible to join ARTA and apply for one of ten Benefit Plans available. ARTA offers a variety of coverage levels for extended health care, emergency travel coverage and dental care. With an ARTA membership, members of LAPP will also be eligible for the ARTA Perks discount program, the ARTA scholarship program, various wellness initiatives and much more.
Eligibility
- Vested to receive or in receipt of LAPP retirement benefits (if you were employed in Alberta's Public sector), or contributed to LAPP for at least five (5) years (If you were employed in Alberta's Education sector);
- Permanent resident of Canada;
- Enrolled in all provincial or territorial health care plans for which you are eligible;
- Surviving spouse of the above members;
- Become an affiliate ARTA member.
Note: If you have pulled your pension plan contributions you no longer qualify.
