
ARTA Welcomes
County of Strathcona and Strathcona County Library!
As an employee of Strathcona County/Strathcona County Library, you are eligible to join ARTA and apply for one of ten Benefit Plans available. ARTA offers a variety of coverage levels for extended health care, emergency travel coverage and dental care. With an ARTA membership, employees or retirees of Strathcona County/Strathcona County Library will also be eligible for the ARTA Perks discount program, the ARTA scholarship program, various wellness initiatives and much more.
Eligibility
- Employees or retirees of Strathcona County that are vested to receive, or in receipt of, LAPP retirement benefits.
- If a member has withdrawn their pension, they are no longer eligible, even if they meet the minimum eligibility criteria.
- Must be a permanent resident of Canada (excluding Quebec) and enrolled in all applicable provincial or territorial health care plans.
- Surviving spouses may apply for or transfer benefits after the plan member’s death.
