Alberta Municipalities!
As a member of Alberta Municipalities, you are eligible to join ARTA and apply for one of ten Benefit Plans available. ARTA offers a variety of coverage levels for extended health care, emergency travel coverage and dental care. With an ARTA membership, members of Alberta Municipalities will also be eligible for the ARTA Perks discount program, the ARTA scholarship program, various wellness initiatives and much more.
Eligibility
- A current or retired member of Alberta Municipalities who has participated in the Alberta Municipalities Extended Health Care Plan for a minimum of two years. Previous employment tenure from an added municipality is accepted.
- Must be a permanent resident of Canada (excluding Quebec) and enrolled in all applicable provincial or territorial health care plans.
- Surviving spouses may apply for or transfer benefits after the plan member’s death.
